Cindy Hudgins, Managing Partner

Cindy Hudgins grew up in the cultural capital of the world, Roscoe, Illinois. Upon high school graduation, she spent a couple years at Georgetown University studying Spanish. She then made the cross-country jaunt to Pomona College in California, where she graduated with a BA in Classics. Upon graduation, she migrated from an HR generalist into the corporate recruiting field, working her way through a few contract recruiting positions before landing at Mintel in Chicago.

Around this time, and after the birth of her first son, Ben, she decided to open a children’s furniture store. While selling hundreds of cribs, gliders, and enough blankets to cover the north side of Chicago, she also managed to have two more sons, Alex and Tyler. By 2010, the economy was in a tailspin, so despite all of her killer sales instincts, she decided that the economic climate wasn’t right for high end children’s furniture.

Cindy came back to her first love, recruiting…only this time she moved to WorldBridge Partners, an agency. Cindy knocked it out of the park at WorldBridge, becoming one of the nation’s top-performing reps in her first year, and as a result of her success, she was recruited out to help launch a contingent staffing firm that specialized in placing candidates in the healthcare technology and services space. An entrepreneur at heart, she now owns and operates her own agency, Ellevate, and works with the nation's best healthcare technology, services and products companies, finding top sales and executive talent.

In her free time, she watches her three sons play a lot of hockey, baseball, football and basketball.
